One decision layer for your entire order fulfilment operation
Datanomous connects the legacy systems, workforce, robots and fixed automation you already
run into one intelligent decision layer — deciding what needs to happen next, who or what should do it,
and why. Systems record · robots execute · Datanomous decides. Your WMS owns the
record, your robot system owns the fleet, Datanomous owns the decision. For 3PLs, retailers, e-commerce
operators and manufacturers.
An order is due at 17:00
Stock is available. One robot is out of service. Two pick zones are congested. A forklift is free two aisles
away. Datanomous sees the risk, reprioritises the work, assigns the free resource and protects the 17:00
commitment — and shows the supervisor the reason and a confidence score before anything is executed.
That is the decision layer.
Every order has to be right five times
- 01 The right promise — can we commit to this, when, and in what condition?
- 02 The right stock — is the right item in the right place before it is needed?
- 03 The right timing — which work goes to the floor, and when?
- 04 The right resource — who does it, and when two orders collide, who goes first?
- 05 The right exit — gate, dock, vehicle: does it actually leave?
Underneath all five sits the decision record: a live digital twin and a decision ledger of
what was decided, why, and whether it held.
Four modules, one decision engine
- Digital Twin — under all five gates. A live model of your operation built read-only
from your WMS, ERP and TMS, where every field carries a confidence score. Page:

- AI-driven WES — gates 01, 03 and 04. Decides what work happens next and which
resource executes it: people, forklifts, robots and fixed automation in one pool, with robot fleets driven
through the robot management system you already use. Page:
/platform/wes.
- Demand & Stock Planning — gate 02. Forecasts volume, shapes the crew and keeps
the right stock in the right location before the commitment is given. Page:
/platform/inventory.
- Yard & Gate Management — gate 05. QR and vision truck recognition, dock
assignment and appointment-window protection. Page:
/platform/yard.
Four kinds of commitment, one engine
A time (cut-off), a condition (temperature or customs), a sequence (JIS line feed) and a slot (appointment
window). One engine that understands all four runs a car line, a cold store and an e-commerce order the same
way.
How it decides — and who is in control
Look → predict → prevent → recommend. The AI does not run the operation on its own: it
evaluates what is happening, predicts what is likely to break, recommends the next action, and gives a person
the reason and a confidence score before anything is executed. Phase 1 observes and recommends, read-only;
Phase 2 executes only what you have approved.
